Carroll County Genealogy Center

The Carroll County Genealogical Center is Located on the lower level of the Owen P. Miles Museum, at 107 East Broadway in Mount Carroll, Illinois.

We are available by appointment by calling 815-273-7676 and leaving a message requesting assistance. Please leave your name and phone number and when you would like to visit. We will return your call as soon as possible.

We would be pleased to undertake research within our county. However, we do need to know exactly what information you are seeking. Also, in order not to duplicate efforts you have already made, it would be helpful if you could specify which genealogical sources you may have already researched.

The Carroll County Genealogical Center will do research on request. We charge $15.00 per hour and require a prepayment of at least $15.00 to cover the first hour. Copies will be an additional charge of 25 cents per page.
